DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

The Cincinnati Arts Association is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill this position at our Aronoff Center location. This individual will be primarily responsible for the accuracy of the development department database and to provide administrative and clerical support to the development department. Duties include, but are not limited to; maintenance of the development department database; data entry of gifts and processing acknowledgments; prepare sponsorship proposals and related materials; coordinate department meetings, events, and calendar; assume custodial responsibility of all development department files; deal effectively with patrons, donors and members; provide switchboard coverage. 

 

Qualifications:

Must possess the ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required. Proficiency in computers a must, including database management and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of a fundraising database helpful. A general knowledge of the arts preferred. High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of three years clerical, word processing, and basic bookkeeping skills; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
