About Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative
Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative is a grassroots arts organization of local playwrights, directors and actors devoted to bringing new plays by local playwrights to the Cincinnati stage.
NEW VOICES SERIES
Come and be a part of the creative process in developing new dramatic works. Don't miss these unique opportunities. Local actors and directors and dramaturgs team with playwrights in showcasing new works for the stage. Audience members enter into a dialogue with the playwright, actors and director, providing valuable feedback to the playwright.
The New Voices Series of staged readings is held at the Fifth Third Bank Theater at the Aronoff Center. The series season runs from September to June. All readings are on Tuesday evenings and begin at 7:30 pm. After the readings, audiences are invited to provide feedback to the author whose work was presented.
