Exhibition Details
*NOTE: The exhibition schedule has been changed to June 17–August 28, 2022. The Opening Reception is on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 6-8 pm.
Pam Kravetz: I Think My Uncle Gershun Was a Golem – Kravetz’s (Cincinnati, OH) selective memories, embellished stories, and make-believe musings serve as inspiration for her artwork. In her multimedia installations, the viewer becomes immersed in the art that explodes with color and texture. Puppets, toys, and larger-than-life-sized interactive art tell a narrative of revealing stories about the artist’s life. In her eccentric and wildly wonderful lineage, she finds the joy in the resistance, resilience and perseverance of being Jewish. (East Gallery)
