Band in a Bus’s mission is to provide engaging music & performing arts programs to local schools. Band in a Bus has served over 80 schools and community organizations, providing arts expereinces to over 10,000 students since the organization’s founding in 2019. Bucket Brigade

Curriculum Connections: Dance, Music, Social and Emotional

Ready to make some noise? Bucket Brigade is a “jam session” style course guiding students through the essentials of making music. We bring bucket drums, kazoos, DIY instrument kits and teach participants how to build simple instruments, fun music-making games, and teach them a song & dance to a popular song. Part music class, part Zumba experience, and lots of noisemaking equals a rocking good time. This 45-minute session will have students engaged and humming through the rest of their school day!  

Recommended Grades: K - 6th

Max #Participants per Session:  20 (small group); 21-200 (medium group) 201-250 (large group)

Length: 45 minutes
