Playwright's Bio: Jim Waldfogle: (Director/Playwright) goes all the way back to the ‘90s with CPI, as actor, director and playwright. He’s also spent several Halloweens performing in various “haunted” events, so this program is right up his alley. As always, he thanks his precious wife Lee Anne for her love and support.
Tooth Fairy by Wendy Vogel
A driver picks up a hitchhiker on a dark country road where a deadly killer is rumored to prey.
Playwright Bio: Wendy Vogel: Wendy is a veterinarian, author, and cancer warrior. Her play During/After premiered at Falcon Theatre in April 2025, and a reading of Finding Mickey Mantle was featured at CPI last season. Her newest play Virtual Reality was runner up for the Louise Wigglesworth New Play Prize in Florida and will premier locally in 2026.
Halo’s Grief by Roger Collins
Halo, the family emotional support dog, seizes an opportunity to attend to her own emotional needs.
Playwright Bio: Roger Collins Roger is professor emeritus at the University of Cincinnati where he received the Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching. He has published short stories and drama in literary journals, and his short plays have been produced locally and in New York, Florida, and California. His sci-fi novel, Cities of Glass, was published in 2022.
Weird Smile by Dave Doster
Something strange is going on at work, and Sean and Kelly have decided to lay low in their co-worker's remote cabin just before going public about it. What could go...wait...did you hear something?
Playwright Bio: Dave Doster Dave’s produced plays include Guardian Angel Blues (Brighton, UK), The Whale (Spark Festival NYC), Rushing for Pandas, The Obstacle Course, and The Last Out (GI60 NYC/Leeds UK). Dave writes weekly with NY/NJ based "Curtains On Fire" podcast and workshop. Besides writing, he enjoys sailboat racing and singing.

The Gorge by Keith Vanden Eynden
Two couples struggle to resist an evil force that they released on a recent camping trip.
Playwright Bio: Keith Vanden Eynden holds an MA in creative writing from Boston University. His plays have been part of Home Brew 7 and 8 at The Drama Workshop and Holidazed 2 and Beans! at Village Players. He has also published dozens of poems and short stories.
The Door by Rose Vanden Eynden
A young writer's success or failure hinges on a mysterious door.
Playwright Bio: Rose Vanden Eynden has worked in the Cincinnati theatre community for over 30 years as an actor, director, technician, and playwright. Her first full-length play, Ghost Girls, had its successful world premiere with Clifton Players in November, 2024. She has also had short plays staged in festivals at The Drama Workshop, Village Players of Ft. Thomas, and Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative. She continues to work on a variety of theatre projects.
When Secrets Brew by Tammy Reatherford
There is no greater bond than between sisters especially when sharing secrets… except when they are witches.
Playwright Bio: Tammy Reatherford is a local playwright who has had plays produced at Fort Thomas Village Players, The Drama Workshop, and the Kentucky State Fair. She is not new to CPI for having a script selected for a staged reading, but she is always grateful to get the opportunity to showcase her work. Tammy has volunteered for community theater over the past fifteen years and has demonstrated her passion for not only writing, but as a backdrop artist. Off stage, Tammy is an IT Business Analyst Specialist at Great American Insurance. She enjoys fishing with her husband, Neil, and all their mini adventures.

If your performance is postponed or rescheduled, we will automatically move your tickets to the new performance date(s). If you are unable to attend the new dates, we will work with you to find a solution, which may include, without limitation, an exchange into an alternate performance or a credit for a future performance.
THEATER ETIQUETTE
For the comfort and enjoyment of your fellow audience members, and to not distract those around you and the actors onstage:
- Turn OFF your cell phone. Even silent calls can be distracting, and the light from your phone can be as disruptive as a cell phone ring. Turn OFF your cell phone.
- Be sure your cell phone is turned off again after intermission.
- Refrain from talking or allowing children to kick seats ahead of them during the performance.
- Photos and recording during the performance are strictly prohibited.
Note that guests who are disturbing those around them may be asked to leave the theater.
