Each summer Cincinnati welcomes over 200 pianists from around the world to compete in the prestigious World Piano Competition. For twelve days in July Cincinnati becomes the center of the piano world as young soloists from all over the world convene for The World Piano Competition, vying for medals, money, and the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious venues in the world.

20th Annual Concert on the Green

The 20th Annual Concert on the Green featuring the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra will be held on the lawn of Union Central, located at the corner of Waycross and Mill Roads in Forest Park, on Friday, July 31, 2009, at 7:30 p.m.  Admission and parking are free.  The grounds will open at 5:30 p.m. for family picnics and pre-concert entertainment including Magician Matthew Brian Taylor.
