Music Hall Revitalization Company

The Music Hall Revitalization Company (MHRC) was formed in 2010 to coordinate the effort to renovate Music Hall. Representing the resident companies (Cincinnati Arts Association, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Symphony/Pops Orchestras, and May Festival), the primary objectives of MHRC are to make the Music Hall experience truly extraordinary for audiences, and to re-establish the facility as a vibrant anchor in Over-the-Rhine – a neighborhood bustling with new development. Under the leadership of MHRC Board President Otto M. Budig, Jr., a 75-year lease was entered into with the City of Cincinnati (the owner of Music Hall) that forms the basis of a public-private partnership that will look toward the long-term preservation and maintenance of Music Hall. Recently joining the MHRC team as project manager, Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) brings proven development expertise to bear on the complexities of the Music Hall project, ensuring an efficient and professional process. With the support of the entire community, Music Hall will continue to be a Cincinnati icon for generations to come. We enjoy hearing from our Music Hall friends and family, so if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please contact the MHRC at
