The Videos and Lesson Plans included in this teaching package presented by the Friends of Music Hall celebrate Cincinnati Music Hall and those who had the vision, talent and skills to design and construct this beautiful, National Historic Landmark building. Three videos spotlight talented musicians who perform for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO), and the focus of the fourth video is the Mighty Wurlitzer organ.

Four Videos
- Beyond The Performance: Beethoven to Jazz with the Bass. Featuring CSO musician Matt Zory on Bass, this video runs 15 minutes and includes beautiful views of Springer Auditorium from the Music Hall stage.
- Beyond The Performance: French Horn Harmony - featuring CSO musicians Lisa Conway and Elizabeth Freimuth on horn. The art carved wood panels located in the Taft Suite at Music Hall are highlighted in this video which runs 15 minutes.
- Beyond The Performance: Viola Dreams features CSO/CCM Diversity Fellow Edna Pierce, and shows how one young Black Cincinnati musician is following her dream to someday join a professional orchestra. A bonus Spanish language feature is included at the end of the video. Peak inside the Corbett Tower room and learn its interesting history. This video runs 14 minutes.
- Beyond The Performance: The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, Out Front and Behind the Scenes. This 13-minute video showcases the Mighty Wurlitzer organ, now permanently installed in the Music Hall Ballroom. Watch a short performance on the organ, and join a behind-the-scenes tour showing how it works. This video includes different musical tempos and styles and illustrates how sound is produced on the organ.
Each music video features:
- An interview with a CSO musician (A tour is included in the Wurlitzer video)
- A short musical selection performed by the musician(s)
- Showcases different areas of Music Hall, as well as the history and some of the beautiful artwork on display
- An invitation to visit Music Hall on a guided tour once the building reopens
