Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to our first Weston Works Art Challenge in 2023, the upcycling event is back! The challenge for those who accept it is to repurpose the Weston Art Gallery's past marketing materials, including postcards, season brochures, and bookmarks, to make new art.
All art forms are welcome, including 2- and 3-dimensional collages and sculptures, wearable art, wall art, word art, and functional art. The only requirements are that creations do not exceed 2’ x 2’ x 2’ and that a significant portion of the work features recognizable Weston Art Gallery materials from the packet. The use of additional upcycled materials is encouraged.
The challenge is open to all ages and artistic abilities, and all submissions will be exhibited in the Gallery along with our Canstruction® display.

- Submit your finished pieces to the gallery: February 27–March 3, 2024
