Thank you for your support of Broadway in Cincinnati and for your trust in the Aronoff Center and the Cincinnati Arts Association during these uncertain times. Our teams continue to work diligently with our partners to navigate the challenges of scheduling touring Broadway shows.

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we were unable to reschedule ANASTASIA to return to Cincinnati within the next season and now must cancel the show. Ticket holders have the following ticket options from which to choose:

  • DONATE the value of your ticket(s) to the Cincinnati Arts Association (CAA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for a tax deduction. CAA manages and operates the Aronoff Center and Music Hall, provides community-wide arts education opportunities, and presents world-class arts and entertainment events.
  • RECEIVE A GIFT CERTIFICATE that is valid for any Broadway in Cincinnati engagement at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.
  • REFUND the full value of your tickets and fees to your original method of payment.

If we do not receive your reply by Monday, June 8 at 5:00 PM, you will automatically receive a refund.

Ticket holders who have any questions may contact the Aronoff Center Ticket Office at [email protected]

Inspired by the beloved films, the romantic and adventure-filled new musical Anastasia is on a journey across America at last!

From the Tony Award-winning creators of the Broadway classic Ragtime, this dazzling show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love, and family.

Anastasia features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally, a lush new score by Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) with direction by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak.
