THE ZAK MORGAN SHOW – LITERACY
In his literacy show, Zak Morgan shares his love of reading and writing and the gift of imagination. Zak uses his humorous, interactive story-songs to teach and demonstrate literary devices and elements of a story. As he teaches and entertains, Zak weaves themes of perseverance and kindness throughout the program.
"We have used your lyrics to identify rhyming words, rhyme patterns, and synonyms. The children love finding double meanings behind the words you choose, and other puns interwoven throughout your songs. I have also used your lyrics to point out “wordplay,” and literary devices such as alliteration to the students. The children love your lyrics because they are fun; I love your lyrics because they are ingenious. The children and I agree the the music itself is also fantastic.”

THE ZAK MORGAN SHOW – SCIENCE
This fun and interactive show is designed to get kids excited about science. Zak points out all of the ways he uses science in his job, from sound waves, to electricity, to the anatomy of the ear. Students see electrons in action with Zak’s hilarious plasma ball and Van de Graaff generator demonstrations. They watch Zak change the frequency and amplitude of sound waves with his theremin and musical saw. Zak reinforces all of the lessons and demonstrations with fun, interactive original songs that are full of humor and wordplay. And as in all Zak Morgan’s shows, children are encouraged to be kind, curious and confident in this fun and memorable introduction to the science of sound.
