What is Jazz?

Experience the history of jazz from Dixieland and Ragtime to Bebop and Fusion. The instrumental duo of Just the Two of Us—Jerry Robinson (sax/clarinet) and Lowell Woodrey (keyboard)—will introduce your students to America’s classic art form.

Cost: $425 first session/$225 each additional
For 2008-09: $450 first session/$250 each additional

Technical Needs

• Artist Arrival: 50 minutes prior to start of presentation
• Organization representative should meet the artists and show them to the presentation area.
• The artists would like an organization representative to introduce them.
• There is a Question and Answer session following the presentation. It lasts 10-15 minutes, not included in run time.
• Equipment needed by artists:
  
  • access to electrical outlets
  • microphones
  • easel
• Classroom or large gathering space is suitable for this presentation.
