Full-Day Workshop:

• Shadow puppet exercises, large scale comparison between light sources
• Demonstrate use of different projected backgrounds, moving and static
• Puppet making and manipulation
• Different ways to make a shadow screen
• Set building for 3-D shadows (panning with light)
• Culminating small group performance using learned technique

Half-Day Workshop:

• Set building for 3-D shadows
• Make a shadow movie! Pan through scenery, in and around structures, zoom in and out of scenes
• Learn the lighting techniques that bring cinematic possibilities to shadow theater
• Special effects with transparent and reflective materials
