Holly's Harps

The Science & Math of Harp Music

No previous musical learning required

In assemblies, Holly Pratt focuses on Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana standards in music, the science of sound, and math; plays a variety of songs; and answers student questions. In addition, she prepares students to play their "own" harps in workshops, where they use one of up to 30 harps provided to learn songs, do hands-on experiments with the science of sound, and get a closer look at Holly's big harp. Activities are adjusted to meet standards for each grade level. You may book assemblies only, or assemblies plus workshops.
