Your Visit to a SchoolTime Performance
Location of performance: SchoolTimes series is presented at two locations – the Aronoff Center for the Arts and Music Hall.
On the invoice: Number of seats and payment deadline.
Seating Notes on invoice: Do you have any special needs? Please let our staff know by the payment deadline.
Don't Forget
Payment: Send payment by date stated on the invoice.
Changes/Cancellations: All changes and/or cancellations must be made by the payment deadline, or you will be charged the original invoice amount.
Ticketing: The Invoice secures your seats.
Bad Weather
To see if a performance has been canceled:
- Tune in to Channel 12, watch for Cincinnati Arts Association
- Log on to www.wkrc.com, click on School Watch and search for "Cincinnati Arts Association"
- Call (513) 977-4116.
Facts that influence our decision
- Can the staff and performers make it to the theater?
- Is yellow bus service running? For which school districts?
- Are the schools that are scheduled to attend opened or closed?
CAA Performance Cancellations: If CAA cancels a performance, we will try to reschedule the performance in the same school year or issue refunds.
If an organization is unable to attend, they can:
- Schedule for another performance in the same school year;
- Receive credit for a performance in the following school year;
- Receive refund minus a 10% administrative fee charge.
The Audience
Actors love to perform just for you... the audience. But they need your cooperation. While on stage they can hear and see what the audience does, so please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- No non-performance related talking or gesturing
- Turn off all electronic devices (radios/walkmen, pagers, cell phones, cameras, tape recorders, alarms on watches, etc.)
- No throwing objects
- No photographing or recording the performance
We keep our buildings beautiful just for you... the audience. Please help us to keep them that way during your visit by adhering to the following guidleines:
- No gum, food or drinks are allowed in the theater
- No smoking in the building
- Please keep your feet on the floor (not on the seat)
- No sliding on the banisters
Day of the Performance
- Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
- If you experience a delay arriving on the day of the show, call (513) 977-4116 or (513) 325-8014 and let us know the approximate time of arrival.
- Please leave school name, contact name and emergency number.
- The contact person for the group is to check in at the Information Table.
- Please wait to be seated before utilizing the restroom facilities. Students must be accompanied by a chaperone. Otherwise, once seated, please remain in your seat.
