The 2008-2009 Season Series will mark ballet tech cincinnati's eighth year serving Greater Cincinnati with excellent, innovative and diverse dance programming. The mission of ballet tech cincinnati is to educate, entertain and inspire by providing diverse and innovative performances that have a phenomenal community impact. Founded in 1997, ballet tech cincinnati offers community dance classes and more at our Kennedy Heights location. ballet tech cincinnati presents about a dozen community performances each year to provide Greater Cincinnati with a new venue for high quality dance performances featuring pre-professional and professional dancers, classical and contemporary repertoire, folk dances and a wide variety of artists, dance styles and music.

East Vs. West Side Story
October 3 - 4, 2008

Dance production of the classic musical West Side Story re-set in Cincinnati and featuring one 'gang' of ballet and jazz dancers from the East Side and another 'gang' of hip hop dancers from the West Side.

Myth
April 24 - 25, 2009

The Leaping for Literacy production exploring the myths of many cultures including Greek, Roman, Norse, Indian, Chinese, African, Native American and others.

8th Annual Gala of International Ballet Stars

The season finale, and annual signature event, THE GALA OF INTERNATIONAL BALLET STARS will feature the best dancers, the best companies and the best choreography from around the globe for one superlative show. THE GALA OF INTERNATIONAL BALLET STARS is not only a dazzling display of international talent drawing tourists to Downtown Cincinnati, but it also succeeds at inspiring international goodwill within our state and abroad.

The Aronoff Center's largest theater seats 2,719, has a fully-equipped stage, state-of-the-art sound and lighting and a beautiful ceiling studded with 3,000 fiber optic lenses that create a starlight effect. The rich color scheme of terra-cotta, teal and ochre is accented with brass trim and cherry wood. Excellent sightlines and comfortable seating add to the enjoyment of any event.
