"Dish and Dishes" with Jean-RobertReturn to Photo GalleryOn Friday, March 2, a small group of fine-diners enjoyed an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime "backstage" experience that Sue Brainer purchased through the Cincinnati Arts Association’s recent “Backstage Treasures” online auction, which raised a total of $30,000 for the downtown arts group. David & Sue Brainer, Judy & Kelly Kelp, Chris & Sandy Leary, Dirk & Linda Pruis were welcomed backstage to the state of the art kitchen of the Aronoff Center by master chef Jean-Robert de Cavel of the Jean-Robert French Restaurant Group, who prepared dinner by the bite. As the guests enjoyed world class cuisine and fine wine, Susanna Morse, Fine Wine Manager at Heidelberg Distributing, discussed the evening's wine selections. Plus, Michael Stokes, Event Manager at the Aronoff Center, shared tales of the famous and infamous people who have performed on the Aronoff's stages. This unique experience rivaled dinner at the Chef's table at Pigall's and added a dash of celebrity gossip to create a smash-hit, standing ovation evening! |
