CINCINNATI, OH - Defending the Caveman, the longest running solo play in Broadway history, is now a worldwide, rock-solid tour-de-force. This blockbuster has won the hearts of millions in more than 15 different languages. Defending the Caveman - written by Rob Becker and starring Vince Valentine - plays the Aronoff Center's intimate Jarson-Kaplan Theater from Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24 as part of the Cincinnati Arts Association's 2007-08 "We Will Rock You" Season.

Defending the Caveman, a hilariously insightful play about the ways men and women relate, is an international hit with productions in 30 countries, including the United States, Canada, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden and Germany.

Comedian Rob Becker wrote Defending the Caveman over a three-year period during which he made an informal study of anthropology, prehistory, psychology, sociology and mythology. This prehistoric look at the battle of the sexes played for two years on Broadway and is full of hilarious scenarios that celebrate the differences between men and women.

With hilarious insights on contemporary feminism, masculine sensitivity and the erogenous zone, Defending the Caveman addresses the common themes in relationships that go straight to the funny bone.

Defending the Caveman is produced by Theater Mogul, a global theatrical production company with shows in more than 30 countries and in 16 different languages. Its offices are in New York City and Zug, Switzerland.

VINCE VALENTINE (Caveman) A Philadelphia native, Vince made his stage debut when he was 11 years old at his cousin Anthony's First Holy Communion with his now legendary comedy bit "Uncle Dominic at the Racetrack." Fast forward to his 30s, and after taking Paul J. Solari's Stand-Up Comedy Workshop, Vince began performing at comedy clubs along the east coast.

In 2002, Vince joined the cast of The Soapranos, an interactive parody of the HBO-TV series. The show, produced by New York Dinner Theater, starred Vince as Christopher and toured throughout the United States. Vince has also starred in Joey and Maria's Italian Wedding and The Godfather's Meshuggener Wedding.

During the summer of 2003, Vince was selected from 1,500 actors as one of five finalists for NBC 10's "Best summer Gig Ever Traffic Contest." He also made a guest appearance on "NBC 10! Live" as a panel guest soon after.

Vince has appeared in the independent film that he co-wrote and starred in, Shut Up And Eat. Later that year he appeared in an iPod spec commercial in which he played Sal Monella. On FM Radio, Vince was a finalist in Philadelphia's 93.3 WMMR's Philly's Last Comic Standing and in 2004 appeared in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival as a member of the Sketch Comedy Troupe Skitzoids. In 2006, Vince made his debut with the Brick Playhouse in their production of Flip the Script. He performed in the 2007 Midtown International Theatre Festival in New York City starring in What Fools We Lovers Be.
