2009-10 SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT

Classic Nights Out!

CINCINNATI, OH – The Cincinnati Arts Association is pleased to announce its 2009-10 Season – a diverse selection of entertainment options offering Classic Nights Out! in the heart of downtown Cincinnati for Tri-state audiences. These intriguing additions to another vibrant Cincinnati arts season are certain to continue CAA’s long-standing mission of presenting an eclectic mix of alternative entertainment choices to Cincinnati theater-goers. The season features the return of many audience favorites, and offers something for everyone.

The 2009-10 Season begins in October with a night of classic rock – the return of RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles (the band’s March 2008 show was a smash-hit sell-out!); followed in November with the world’s original Kung Fu masters, the Shaolin Warriors.

The holiday season brings a selection of international superstars back to the Aronoff Center in December with the warmth and charm of Grammy® Award-winner Kenny G and the joyous harmonies of The Irish Tenors.  In January, classic music meets MTV in a spectacular new production of opera’s greatest hits, The Opera Show.

Rounding out the season in February are the astounding, awe-inspiring The Peking Acrobats; and one of America’s greatest operas, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess.

Additional events may be added throughout the season as they become available.

“We are excited to present this season of Classic Nights Out, including some of the best entertainment choices currently touring performing arts centers across the country,” says Steve Loftin, President & Executive Director of the Cincinnati Arts Association. “We hope that this entertaining mix of CAA Experiences will add variety to the 2009-10 schedules at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall, and enhance the nightlife of Cincinnati’s very alive and vibrant downtown.”
