BDAAC Newsletter January 2011ArtNet in April
BDAAC will again present ArtNet in the Weston Art Gallery on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 5:00-7:30 PM. The reception provides an opportunity for minority visual artists to meet one another while exploring a variety of opportunities available in the Cincinnati area. In previous years, a number of art-related schools, businesses, art clubs and visual art-related organizations have participated in the event. This is an excellent opportunity for artists to explore or learn about new possibilities for them and their artwork. It also provided a chance to meet and brainstorm with fellow artists about ideas for new collaborative projects. In a prior year, one of those ideas resulted in publication of a book. BDAAC is actively looking for suggestions to increase the number of information tables. It is also seeking ways to better communicate with the minority visual art community. Your ideas are welcome and appreciated! Feel free to contact Steve Finn at Sfinn@cincinnatiarts.org . Other committee members include Karen Jenkins Smith, Darlene Penn, Ketki Moody and Evelyn Sears. The goal is to significantly increase the attendance, so spread the word and come on down to the Weston Art Gallery to meet and greet fellow artists in a great space. | TICKETS & EVENTS
